World Wildlife Fund
The World Wildlife Fund (WWF) is an international organization that works towards the preservation of natural habitats, the rescue of endangered species, and the reduction of human impact on the environment. Their mission is to "conserve nature and reduce the most pressing threats to the diversity of life on Earth." WWF is the largest organization of its kind and supports over 1,300 environmental and conservation projects across more than 100 countries. The goals of WWF perfectly align with our own goals of environment conservation, so we usually end up donating money each year to one or more of their causes. One of the interesting things about donating to WWF is that you can choose to receive gifts in return. For example, when you "adopt" an endangered species, they'll send you an info booklet and a cute stuffed version of the animal. They also offer lots of cool apparel, made from organic and recycled materials.
If you'd like to donate, adopt an animal, pick up some apparel, or just learn more, you can reach the World Wildlife Fund here.
