2019 Rockstar Rumble: Final Results

The ride was fun while it lasted. We started as just 1 small blog in a crowded field of 128 competitors, but our article, "Pancakes Cost More Than You Think", fought its way all the way to the final 16 in the competition. Though we didn't make it any further, I'm simply amazed at the amount of support we received from all of our great readers! Thank you so much for your support!! Following this performance, I'm betting that next year, we'll be able to make an even bigger splash and finish on top! We've got exciting news! GoGreenDollar was selected to compete in the 2019 Rockstar Rumble contest! If you're not familiar with this contest don't feel bad, we only recently learned about it ourselves. Here are the details:

Rockstar Finance is a personal finance website that was created with the goal of bringing together the best personal finance blog posts from around the web (GoGreenDollar was recently featured as a daily favorite).

Each year Rockstar Finance conducts a contest which pits one post against another in an NCAA "March Madness"-style bracket tournament. They call this contest the "Rockstar Rumble."

This year 128 of the most interesting personal finance blog posts were chosen to participate, and one of ours made the cut! Each round our post will go head-to-head with a post from another site during a 48-hour voting window. After 48 hours, the post with the most votes moves on to the next round. This process continues until there is only one post remaining.
